Course description 
The course is primarily aimed at PhD students from the Faculty of Chemistry. The objective of the course is to enhance their written and spoken competence. Special attention will be devoted to developing critical thinking skills, interpreting visual information, reporting scholarly articles and describing research methods. The students will be familiarized with features of academic discourse and vocabulary. Various forms of academic writing, including abstracts and summaries, will be practiced during the course.
