“That’s not how we hang people here”: Gilead in the eyes of witnesses in Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale and The Testaments
Witness and testimonial literature have gained special significance in the 20th century in response to the traumas that people experienced then. Two dystopian novels by Margaret Atwood, The Handmaid’s Tale and The Testaments, are also classified as such, even though they are set in the fictitious Republic of Gilead in the near future.

Learning And Teaching Space in Higher Education
Katarzyna Machała from the Jagiellonian Language Centre participated in the Learning and Teaching Space in Higher Education (LTSHE) project that aims to emphasize the importance of space in the learning and teaching process, and to arrive at a set of principles and guidelines that institutions can draw on to inform the development of new learning and teaching (L&T) spaces. The LTSHE project develops a set of core principles that institutions can use to help them design, construct and develop new L&T spaces.

Grywalizacja w dydaktyce języków obcych – Teaching Slam 2022
W dniu 24.10.2022 mgr Maria Talaczyńska podczas konkursu "Teaching Slam 2022 – forum wymiany dobrych praktyk w dydaktyce akademickiej" przedstawiała założenia metody, zasady i efekty zrealizowanego przez nią kursu języka obcego metodą grywalizacyjną. Zajęcia poprowadzone w oparciu o dwa odrębne scenariusze wskazują na efektywność metody grywalizacyjnej w procesie nauczania, w szczególności na wzmocnienie motywacji angażowania się w zajęcia i chęci wykonywania samodzielnej pracy poza nimi
